Preparing your CSV file
One value per line in the first column; an optional second column sets each file’s name. Excel exports are accepted as they are: semicolon or comma separator, header row skipped, UTF-8 or Windows-1252 encoding.
Values are checked before generation: an invalid EAN barcode is flagged, with examples, instead of being silently skipped.
Dynamic QR codes in bulk
On the plans that include them, every code in the batch can be dynamic: it redirects through Scanou to its value, which you can edit later, and its scans are counted. Ideal for labels whose destination will change over time.
Frequently asked questions
How many codes per batch?
Up to 100 codes per batch on the Starter plan, 1,000 on Business and 5,000 on Enterprise. Bulk generation is not included in the free plan.
Which file formats?
A ZIP of PNG images (in three sizes) or SVG, or an A4 PDF sheet with 2 to 6 codes per row.
Can I print the name under each code?
Yes. The name (the CSV’s second column, or the value itself) can be printed under each code, on images as well as on the A4 sheet.
Are EAN barcodes checked?
Yes: each value is checked and the check digit calculated when missing, before generation.
